Company Profile: Dr. Henry T. Nguyen directs the Molecular Genetics and Soybean Genomics Laboratory at the University of Missouri. Research in Dr. Nguyen's lab focuses on soybean improvement through increasing yield and the analysis of value-added seed composition traits. Both abiotic and biotic stresses, such as soybean cyst nematode resistance, drought tolerance, and flooding tolerance, are studied. Discovery of the underlying mechanisms involved in these processes, will lead to higher yield for soybean farmers in the field.
